Training and Behavior
As a part of my undergraduate degree through UW-River Falls, I participated in the ADEPT program. This program was a partnership between UW-River Falls and Pawsitive Perspective Assistance Dogs based out of Lakeville, MN. Through this program I learned a lot about animal behavior and training, which has helped my career as a veterinary technician in being able to read animal body language and help educate owners on different training techniques that will help to stimulate their pets to decrease undesirable behaviors. I continue to focus on and continue my learning in different ways in which animals minds work to help better service our pets and their owners to establish caring, long lasting relationships.
